Regional capitals are an important category of cities in the South European Russia, where more than a quarter (25.6 %) population macroregion lives and significant demographic potential region is concentrated. The south Russia includes regions with natural growth which rare for modern high rates migration growth, as well territories unfavorable situation. To study such differentiated multidimensional situation, geoinformation technologies were used to consolidate statistical data from various sources, conduct spatial analysis, model visualize processes under study. realization this request possible use atlas information systems (AIS), actively subject areas, including socio-economic processes. As part research, we have developed system “Regional Capitals Russia”, consisting 2 main blocks: structural block basic GIS platform, cartographic framework, geodata database modeling visualization unit responsible preparation visual models. AIS contains 6 thematic sections: ethnodemographic (“Population size”, “Demographic indicators”, “Migration “Ethnic structure population”), “Covid-19” (contains indicators sick, deceased, cured coronavirus infection, growth), “Big Data (Big Data)” consolidating on real estate market urban environment quality index factors formation This makes it modeling, mapping, creation plots comprehensive complex analysis. It allows increase level analytics process making economically determined management decisions regional Southern Russia. Additionally, possibility integrating Web services described.
